My prefix of Beauxchats is registered with the GCCF this is an amalgamation of the names Beaufort and Chatteris in Cambridgeshire where I live, in French Beaux Chats means beautiful cats, which they most certainly are.
I have always had a cat(s) in my life and promised myself that one day I would own a 'Whiskers' kitten after my sister gave me a calendar one Christmas. Mischa, a Black Silver Spotted came into my life in September 2008, and it was love at first sight; Molly followed shortly after a blue cream girl with a sweet gentle nature and eyes the colour of liquid gold, but it was her easy-going demeanour that persuaded me to follow my heart and fullfil my ambition to breed these beautiful cats.
With the help of Linzi at Sodachicats who gave me the opportunity of using her Champion stud boy Stormin Norman Molly gave us three litters of wonderful kittens. In October 2011, I purchased my foundation girl Mika from Linzi, who produced her first litter in April 2013 of five beautiful boys.
I aim to breed healthy, happy well adjusted cats who are a pleasure to own. All kittens are born and raised in the home lavished with love and affection, fully vaccinated including leukaemia, ready for their new homes at thirteen weeks as the GCCF guidelines.
All my cats are tested PKD, FeLV/FIV negative.
